Steekpartij in Emmen, Forensisch onderzoek loopt nog. (video)
Herman © Van Oost Media De twee verdachten die zijn opgepakt voor het neersteken van een begeleidster van jeugdzorginstelling Yorneo in Emmen zijn een 16-jarige jongen en een 19-jarige man. Het slachtoffer, een 26-jarige vrouw uit Groningen, overleed ter plekke aan haar verwondingen.
De fatale steekpartij was aan de Stationsstraat in Emmen, waar de instelling van Yorneo gevestigd is.
Kort na de steekpartij werd de 19-jarige verdachte opgepakt. Naar de tweede verdachte werd een zoektocht gestart, daarbij werd onder meer een politiehelikopter ingezet. De 16-jarige jongen werd aan het einde van de avond aangehouden in de gemeente Meppel, zo laat de politie weten. Waar de twee verdachten vandaan komen, maakt de politie niet bekend.
Op dit moment wordt aan de Stationsstraat nog onderzoek gedaan naar de fatale steekpartij. In de jeugdzorginstelling in Emmen wonen jongeren tussen de 12 en 18 jaar. Zij zijn afgelopen nacht ergens anders ondergebracht. De politie doet onderzoek naar de toedracht van de steekpartij en onderzoekt ook wat de rol van de twee verdachten was.
